My skin is
fair and blotchy. Looks fine with foundation or BB creams, covering the redness
and dark patches without issues. However, I don’t like to depend on these to
look nice. I actually prefer not to wear makeup and I travel often. I simply
don’t have the time to apply makeup…or the mood to do it. I decided to change
my skincare routine and opt for a treatment to even out my skin tone. Easier
said than done, with so many available it wasn’t an easy decision.
I opted for
DermalMD Even Tone Serum which I personally used as a night treatment, as daily
moisturizer and as a mask. It doesn’t say anywhere you can use it as a mask and
those with very sensitive complexions might not see it as a good thing. It
worked for me. Thought it might have a faster and more profound action. I apply
it in a thick layer, let it sit for 5 minutes and remove the excess with a
makeup pad. It works very well, fading freckles, redness and brightening those
dark patches shadowing my face. The consistency makes application very
comfortable. I cannot place the fragrance, the ingredients don’t help but it’s
a light one and don’t think it would cause problems for those with sensible
noses.
Be patient,
big results happen after about a month, minor improvements are noticeable in a
day or two, you’ll see a glow, a freshness that wasn’t there before. Freckles,
spots or blotches won’t budge that fast. After a month…well, you’ll see!
